Ava's 5!!!

I can't believe how big Ava has gotten...she is going to be going to kindergarten in one week, time is flying by!! What a big 5 year old!!

Of course, I can't get by with taking her picture without her making at least one crazy face!!

This last weekend Kyle came for a short trip with Maija while Corrie was packing for their move...we had some fun at the pool and shopping...and poor kids I made them suffer through a little photo shoot :)

People probably thought we were crazy on the side of the road taking pictures of the flowers, I got really good pictures of the girls, but love this one with my dad and Ava!

I realize it has been a while since posting anything...so an update on the kids. Tre is getting more fun by the day, he is always SO happy unless he wants to eat-and in that case-it has to be NOW. Other than that, he is a very sweet, easy going baby. I couldn't help but take his picture in the outfit Regina bought him!

Isaiah was so busy with soccer this spring and loved every minute of it!!

They played four games in three days for the Cedar Valley Cup, don't know how all the boys did it, I was worn out and I didn't even play!

They played just amazingly and won the Cedar Valley Cup...First place Denver Storm!!

Now we can't forget miss Ava...she had her first taste of organized soccer. She started out doing a lot of looking at us and smiling and not as much play of soccer but by the last few weeks she was really into it!

Some of you may have seen these next pictures on Facebook but I can't help but post again because it is so funny. They were playing a drill where you had to kick each other's balls out of bounds...here she is getting to a teammates ball...

I laugh every time I see this picture, the little girl's face is priceless...and Ava is so proud!

We are now into baseball and tball season for the kids so more pictures to post, and more pictures of the 5 year old diva too!!

First Smiles!!

Tre started smiling on April 26th...at first they were very random and he was extremely selective about it...

Then at nine weeks, they started coming more frequently and when we want to see them...love when we get dimples out of him too!!

He still looks so much like Isaiah to me!!

Trejan James Smith

So I hadn't realized that we had not posted anything since Tre was born so here goes...

On Wednesday, March 2nd I wasn't feeling well and for good reason! I didn't have any real painful contractions after visiting the doctor's office but by 9:30pm that night I just had a feeling we should go in. We got to the hospital at 10:00pm and by 12:50am on March 3rd, Tre was here!! Nothing like a mom's intuition (and a little coaxing from dad)!!

Before any real pain started...we were taking dibs on how big we thought he would be since he was 2 1/2 weeks early. I said somewhere around 8 1/2 pounds, Tim said around 9 pounds, my mom said under 8 pounds and the doctor thought maybe 7 pounds 10 ounces...well...

After two pushes, Trejan James Smith was here! All 9 pounds 8 ounces, and 21 inches of him!! Boy was Tim right on the weight!! We were all a little surprised to see this big boy!

Tre came so fast that they didn't have the pediatric nurse in yet, so there was a bit of a rush to get everything together to get him checked out, but not before I got to cuddle with him first!

He had such a full little face!!

Winter

So I have not updated the blog in quite some time, even though we have had plenty of sporting events going on with Isaiah...oops...these are very random pictures but of our holiday season.

We were lucky to see my side of the family for Christmas around Thanksgiving and Tim's family thankfully was all able to see each other even though we are not all together all the time!!
